Hygrophila corymbosa 'angustifolia'

Hygrophila corymbosa 'angustifolia' is a great choice for background areas of the planted aquarium.  It has Long slender leaves which will wave in any current creating a pleasing look. If Hygrophilia Augustifolia is kept under strong light the leaves will take on a very pretty deep red or pink color.
 
Once established Hygrophila corymbosa 'angustifolia' is fast growing and because it is fast growing, this plant can be used as cycling plant as it does great taking in extra nitrate, nitrite, and ammonia. It will also help fight algae outbreaks as it will take up extra nitrate which causes algae to grow.
